Description

This is an early to mid-19th century building on High Street, Great Baddow. It is constructed of white brick and divided by brick pilasters on the front elevation. The outer bays have semi-circular headed heals, and the corners are rounded. The building extends to two storeys and includes cellars. It has a two-window range, featuring iron windows with small panes of glass. The upper windows have semi-circular arched heads, while the tile-ground storey windows have segmental heads. Central loading doors are present on each storey. The roof is slate-covered. The building is part of a group which includes Munnions (Nos. 57 to 61, odd; Nos. 66 to 78, even), Banstreets, Bell Street, the Church of St Mary, and the Vicarage on Church Street.
