Description
Mary Street House is a three-storey building from the early 19th century, constructed of brown brick and positioned at right angles to the road. The centre of the façade projects forward, featuring a moulded cornice and a hipped slate roof. The building has five windows, with three-light windows in the centre. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and there is a three-bay Tuscan porch. The doorway includes side-lights, a traceried fanlight, and double three-panel doors. Mary Street House is part of a group that includes the Lawn, Unitarian Chapel, and the School on Mary Street, along with all the listed buildings in Mount Street and Vivary Park, as well as Wilton House in Hammets Walk and Nos 1 to 14 Upper High Street.
