3/95 Boundary railings and gatepiers about 20 metres south and gateway at south-east corner of house of Lower Severalls Farmhouse 4.2.58

GV II

Boundary railings and gateways. Possibly C18. Ham stone ashlar, wrought-iron railings and gates. South boundary to house garden marked by low ashlar wall on which are set wrought-iron railings with spearpoint tops. In centre pair of tall gatepiers, square plan on chamfered plinths, with cornice caps, steps and double-necked obelisk finials. Gates to match railings between piers, and further pair of gates towards west end. The boundary wall to east side of garden in reconstructed stone blocks, but at south-east corner of house a pair of smaller gate piers, with ball finials. Railings, gatepiers and gates included for group value with Lower Severalls Farmhouse (qv).
