Description

The former lime kiln, possibly dating from the 18th century, is constructed from local stone rubble with some ashlar dressing. The remaining structure consists of a length of rubble stone walling that stands about 1 to 1.5 meters high, with some sections seemingly laid without mortar. At the southeast end, there is an ashlar dressed segmental arch featuring a tapering vault. It appears that the ground level around the kiln has been raised.
