ST3414 HIGH STREET 1939-1/6/60 (South side) Nos.47 AND 48 and attached walls

GV II

Two cottages. Early C19. Painted limestone rubble, slate roof with brick stacks to gable ends. Double-depth plan, set well back to south-west of No.49. 2 storeys, each is one-window range. Central paired C19 planked doors, a small window inset to the left one, flanked by 8/8-pane horned sashes to both floors. No.48, to the left, is connected to the rear of No.49 by a low 2-storey range with a beam at top of door level. INTERIOR not inspected.
