Description

A pair of cottages, likely built in the early 19th century and subsequently altered. They are constructed of random rubble, with No. 36 having a roughcast and painted exterior, and No. 37 painted. The roof is of graduated slate. Each cottage has a double-depth plan and a single-fronted facade. They are two storeys high with a 1+1 window arrangement. Doorways are on the left side, each with a 20th-century door and a plain overlight. The windows are hornless sash windows with six panes, featuring vertical glazing bars. A ridge chimney is located at the junction of the two cottages, and a gable chimney is on the right. The interior has not been inspected. These cottages form a group with Nos. 34 and 35 to the left, and No. 36 overlaps by approximately half a meter.
