Description
34 and 35 Loftus Hill is a small house, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, and has been altered over time. It features cream-painted random rubble with quoins and a graduated slate roof, topped with a yellow brick chimney. The building has a double-depth, double-fronted layout with two low storeys and two symmetrical windows. The square-headed doorway has a rendered surround and a 20th-century part-glazed door, flanked by widely spaced sashed windows on both floors. All windows are 6-paned with vertical glazing bars and hornless, except for the one on the left at the first floor. There is a gable chimney on the left side. The left gable wall, which is built against higher ground, has a doorway to the first floor with a panelled door and a hornless 6-pane sashed window similar to those at the front. The rear and interior of the building were not inspected. It forms a group with No. 33 located to the rear.
