Description
No. 33 Loftus Hill is a small cottage, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, and is the right-hand of a pair set back from the road behind No. 35. The cottage features cream-painted random rubble with quoins and a graduated slate roof. It is single-depth and single-fronted, with a lean-to extension on the left side. The building has two low storeys and two windows; the doorway is to the left and has a part-glazed door. To the right of the door, there is one 6-pane sashed window, and above, there are two more sashed windows on the first floor, all with vertical glazing bars and exposed boxes. A chimney is located at the right-hand gable. There is a single-storey lean-to attached to the right-hand gable, which is slightly set back and features a board door at the junction along with a small altered window. This cottage is similar in period and style to No. 35, with which it forms a group. The interior has not been inspected.
