Description

No. 4 is a semi-detached cottage, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is linked to No. 2 by a single block constructed in matching materials. The cottage is built of rubble stone with a stone slate roof and has a central brick stack with two diagonally-set shafts and oversailing caps. It is two storeys high. The right gable wall contains the entrance. The front elevation has four late 19th-century sash windows with a central glazing bar, set beneath wooden lintels on the ground floor. The first floor contains two horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The front boundary wall is constructed of rubble stone with flat coping. The property is included on the list for its group value.
