Description
These are a pair of early to mid-19th century terraced cottages on West Street, Corfe Castle. The cottages are built of rubble stone with stone slate roofs and brick end stacks. Each cottage is one storey high with attics. Each has a ledged door set beneath a straight-sided stone relieving arch, which is covered by a gabled hood supported on shaped brackets. The ground floor features a casement window with cast iron lattice glazing, also set under a similar relieving arch. An attic dormer is present, mirroring the design with a casement window and relieving arch.
