Description
No. 160 East Street is a semi-detached cottage, built in the late 18th century, and is attached to No. 158. The cottage features coursed rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with brick stacks at each end. It stands two storeys tall and has a single-storey outbuilding extension on the left side, which is constructed in a matching style and has a ledged door. The main house has a 20th-century glazed door set beneath a segmental arch. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, each located under similar arches. The first floor also has two windows that match those below. This property is included for its group value and is a National Trust property.
