Description
This is a semi-detached cottage located on the west side of East Street in Corfe Castle. It dates to the late 16th century, with a later extension likely from the 18th century constructed in matching materials. The cottage is built of rubble stone with a stone slate roof and a brick stack near the center. It is one storey high with an attic. The front features a ledged door sheltered by a simple canopy. The ground floor has two casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. A hipped dormer window in the attic also contains casements with similar glazing bars. The cottage is now owned by the National Trust.
