Description
33 Main Street is a small house, likely built in the late 18th century and altered over time. It features painted watershot coursed rubble and a slate roof, with a probable double-depth plan. The house has three low storeys and two windows.
On the right side, there is a wide rectangular opening that contains a pair of doorways, each with doors that have six fielded panels. Above this, there is a tall round-headed window with rubble voussoirs and glazing bars, which includes Y-tracery in the head. The left side has a wide oblong window at ground level, featuring wooden mullions and a transom that creates six lights. There is also a cross-window on the first floor with similar mullion and transom work, and a two-light casement window on the second floor, all of which have renewed joinery. A gable chimney is located on the left side. The interior has not been inspected. This building forms a group with the adjoining No. 35 to the left.
