Description

No. 7 High Street is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features a slate roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high, presenting a symmetrical three-window range. The first-floor windows are three-light casements, each consisting of three panes and set under wooden lintels. The ground floor includes a 20th-century planked door, which is accompanied by fixed-light windows with two panes on either side, flanked by three-light windows that have fixed panes to the sides and narrow one-over-one pane sashes in the centre. The interior has not been inspected.
