Public house. Late C17. Rough Ham Hill stone ashlar with stepped stone coping to left and brick stacks to gable ends. 4-unit plan. 2 storeys; 4-window range. First floor has C20 three-light casements with string course below. To left-of-centre is a C20 door under open pediment on consoles, flanked by C20 six-light casements under C17 label moulds. A window to far left and door to inside-left are C20, both under a C20 label mould. The plinth is C20 with a moulded top. INTERIOR: the wall to the left gable end is said to have been in a separate cottage in 1920; a fireplace with a moulded Tudor-arched Moolham stone lintel, has a late C17 panelled door with cockshead hinges to the left and 2 cupboards to the right. The upper one has 4 panels and L-H hinges, and the lower one has a single raised-and-fielded panel and H hinges.
