Description
This is a pair of gate piers with gates located approximately 5 metres north-west of number 53 on Manor Road in Alcombe, built around 1899. The gate piers are tall and square, featuring rusticated stonework, entablatures, and ball finials. The gates are tall, double spiked, and open outward, with each gate hinged at the centre to wrap around the front of the gate pier. These structures are included for their group value with Dunster Lodge, which is not part of this listing.
