Description

These are a pair of gate piers dating to approximately 1830, located about 25 metres north of the Manor House. The piers are constructed of purple volcanic trap ashlar, featuring a lightly rusticated finish. They are topped with low, pyramidal caps of Bathstone. The iron gates are 20th century additions.
