Description
A pair of gate piers, dating from approximately 1820 to 1832. The piers are constructed of ashlar and feature Gothic panels, topped with stepped capping. They are connected by 20th-century iron gates, which are not part of the listing. Park Place was developed by 1832, and these piers are a significant feature of the streetscape, forming a group with other piers and contributing to the setting of Number 17.
