Description

This is a general farm building located about 20 meters north-east of Horton Cross Farmhouse, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from Ham stone in near-ashlar style and features a corrugated iron roof that has replaced the original thatch. The roof has a stepped, coped west gable topped with a weathervane and is hipped to the east. The west gable includes a 2-light mullioned window with a label at a lower level, and a doorway to the left, with a circular window set in the gable above. There is a later open byre attached to the south side. The interior has not been seen.
