Description
This farmbuilding, located approximately 16 meters north of Grove Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with some parts from the 18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone and features a corrugated iron roof with a coped gable parapet and kneelers on the left side. The left section includes double doors and a plank door immediately to the right, along with a 2-light chamfered stone-mullioned window. The right section has a plank door and a stable doorway with an overlight above the lintel, as well as two small windows. Throughout the building, there are painted wood lintels. The left return side has an upper 2-light mullioned window. Inside, there are some stalls, but the roof structure is not clearly visible, and the original function of the building is uncertain. The interior has only been partly inspected.
