Description
The former stable at Manor Farmhouse is an outbuilding that dates from the 16th to early 17th century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and has a plain-tile roof added in the 20th century. The building is two stories high and features a six-window range.
To the right of the center, there is a large doorway with a moulded Tudor-arched head and a hood mould. There are five later plank and stable doors with wooden lintels. A two-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window is located to the right of the far left door, also with a hood mould. On the first floor, there are three similar windows to the left of center, which are partly blocked with red brick, leaving openings for access to a pigeon loft. Above the main door, there is a small rectangular blocked window with a double-chamfered stone surround. Other later openings also have wooden lintels. The building features a chamfered plinth and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Additionally, there is a moulded Tudor-arched door that faces the church at the rear.
