Description
Maidford House Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1800, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and has slate roofs. The building features two brick gable stacks and ashlar coped gables. It is a three-bay, two-and-a-half storey structure. The central doorway has a 20th-century half-glazed door with a gabled hood. On either side of the door are single two-light glazing bar casements. Above the door, there are three two-light glazing bar casements, and above those, three small 20th-century casements with glazing bars. Attached to the left of the farmhouse is a coursed rubble garden wall, standing two metres high, with ashlar coping. This wall includes a segment-headed gateway topped with an unusual ashlar finial.
