Description
This barn, located approximately 10 meters southwest of Church Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed ironstone and features a corrugated asbestos roof with a coped gable parapet. The barn consists of five bays. The side facing the road has a central doorway that is currently without doors, while the fourth bay includes a doorway with a wooden lintel positioned above ground level. The right side of the barn has a pitch opening and a gable parapet. The side facing the farmyard features a central sliding door and a plank door on the left, both with wooden lintels. Inside, there is a stone wall, likely a later addition, that divides off two bays, which may have been used as a stable. The roof structure includes collar and tie beams with trenched purlins.
