Description

This is an 18th-century barn situated south east of Church Farm. The barn is constructed of coursed, squared ironstone with a corrugated iron roof. It has five bays. Piers support the roof at the front, and these openings were formerly weatherboarded. There is some brick patching to the front of the barn, and breeze blocks partially obstruct an opening to the rear. The interior features pegged queen strut roof trusses with collars; the truss on the left has been recently replaced. The building is included on the list for its group value - that is, its contribution to the wider historic landscape.
