Description

A barn dated 1778, situated south east of Payn’s House. The barn is constructed of squared, coursed ironstone with some brick patching to the rear, and has weatherboarded gables. The roof is half-hipped and tiled. It consists of four bays, with double plank doors to the centre, and a late 18th-century plank door to the left. Inside, the barn features a pegged queen strut roof with collars. The barn is included on the register for group value.
