Description
The barn at Church Farm is a late 18th-century structure built from coursed ironstone rubble with a thatched roof. It features three bays, with the south side showcasing wide plank doors with a timber lintel on the left, a ventilation slit to the centre right, and another plank door with a timber lintel on the right. Below the eaves, there are nine pigeon roostings. The barn has quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. The left gable end includes a plank door for the hayloft. On the right side, there is a 20th-century garage with a lean-to roof. The north side has a cart entrance with a double-leaf door and timber lintel, a ventilation slit, and a two-light loft window. Inside, the roof features a tie beam collar-truss design with wind-braced purlins. The barn is included for its group value.
