Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was raised and altered in the late 18th century. It is built from coursed squared ironstone rubble and features a concrete tile roof with stone ridge and right end stacks. The cottage has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. The entrance includes a plank door set within a late 20th-century half-glazed timber porch. The windows are mostly two- and three-light casements, many of which are leaded, and have painted wood lintels. The right side of the cottage, facing The Green, is made of regular coursed stone and has three- and two-light casements that have been inserted into former stone-mullioned windows with hood moulds. The interior has not been inspected.
