Description
The Flood family monument is a chest tomb located about one metre south of the south transept of the Church of St Aldhelm and St Eadburgha. It dates from the late 17th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a flat-topped thick slab with a steeply chamfered cornice and plinth. It is inscribed on all sides except the east, with the earliest inscription being the name of John Flood Senior, who died in 1691.
