Description
This is a farm building located approximately 20 meters southeast of Cocker Hill Farmhouse, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and features a stone slate roof. The building is two stories high and consists of three bays. It has quoins at the corners. The entrance for the stable or cattle shed is on the right, while the entrance to the first-floor hay loft or granary is in the center, framed by tie-stone jambs and accessed by a double flight of external stone steps. At the base of these steps, there is a tall doorway with a plain lintel, likely used as a dog kennel. The building has plain stone surrounds for the small square windows on the left and right. A short chimney stack is located at the right gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
