Description
The kitchen garden wall on the east side of Cookridge Hall dates from around 1760 and was extended and altered around 1820. It was originally built for Charles Sheffield, with later alterations made for Robert Wormald. The wall is constructed of red and brown brick and stone, enclosing the northern and eastern sides of the garden, with botheys located on the northern wall. The eastern wall is approximately 50 meters long and stands 5 meters high at the northern end, ramping down to 3 meters at the southern end, and features a pedestrian gateway.
