Description

A group of farm buildings, including stables and a cart shed, located at Adel Mill, dating to the late 18th century, with later alterations and conversion around 1990. The buildings are constructed of coursed squared gritstone with stone slate roofs, and have quoins to the front. One former stable has a first-floor door, now a window, with missing steps and cyma-moulded kneelers, and gable copings. The cart sheds have been converted into a single-storey house and garages. The interior was not inspected. This building possesses group value owing to its association with Adel Mill.
