Description

The Alary Chest Tomb, located 2 metres east of the south porch of the Church of Saint Mary, is a chest tomb that likely dates from the late 18th century. It is made of Ham stone and features a moulded base with fielded panels on each side and flanks. The tomb has coffered pilasters on the flanks and a hipped top. It commemorates the Alary family, with a date inscribed on the west side indicating the year 1817.
