Description
The Talor Chest Tomb, located 8 metres southeast of the south porch of the Church of Saint Mary, is an early 18th-century chest tomb made of Ham stone and featuring a rectangular plan. It has a moulded base with a single recessed panel on each end and two recessed panels with plain pilasters on each side. The tomb is topped with a heavily moulded hipped top. It commemorates John Talor, who died in 1736, and is currently heavily overgrown with ivy.
