Description
This is an 18th-century chest tomb located in the churchyard, 0.75 metres east of the chancel of the Church of Saint Michael. It is made of Ham stone and features a moulded base. The sides have fielded panels, and the flanks are adorned with fielded panels that include panelled pilasters. The tomb has a heavy moulded hipped top. The inscription is mostly worn away, but the date may be readable as 1753.
