Description
This is an 18th-century chest tomb made of Ham stone, located 6 metres north-north-east of the churchyard cross at the Church of All Saints. The tomb features a sunken base with one fielded panel on each face, flanked by fielded pilasters. It has a heavy hipped top. The inscription on the south face is very worn but the date 1769 can still be discerned. The inscription on the north face appears to be earlier lettering, though it is also very worn and virtually indecipherable.
