Description
Hyde Farm House is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed from local stone that is roughly coursed, with Ham stone dressings. The roof is partly thatched and partly covered with plain clay tiles, featuring coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The building is two stories tall and has five bays, with the first bay being an addition of uncertain date. On the ground floor, there are four-light hollow chamfer mullioned windows in bays two and five, with a cambered arch doorway situated between them, all under a continuous string course that is raised over the doorway. Bay one has a plain doorway, while the first floor features two- and three-light stall pane steel casement windows.
