Description
Owl Cottage is a cottage from the 18th century that has been modified. It is built from local stone rubble and features exposed timber lintels. The roof is thatched with a coping at the west end, and there are brick chimney stacks at both ends and in the center. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and has a four-window elevation. The entrance is located under a thatched hood between the first and second windows. The cottage has 20th-century casement windows, with leaded glass in the third bay and an older leaded casement window above it. The other first-floor windows are two-light casements with triangular deadlights above them in swept thatch dormers. The interior has not been seen.
