Cottage. One of a row of 10, probably late C18. Local stone rubble; thatch; coped West gable. 2-storeys, 2-bays. 2-light casement windows segmental arch heads ground floor; timber and tiled porch to bay 2. Interior not seen. Front boundary wall, rubble stonework 1.2 metres high, important to setting of house and row. (Nos 7-10 of different build, using greyer stones, and with increased room heights).
