Description

No 7 is a cottage that is part of a row of ten, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble and has a thatched roof with a coped west gable. The cottage is two stories tall and has two bays. The ground floor features two-light casement windows with segmental arch heads, and there is a timber and tiled porch at the second bay. The interior has not been seen. The front boundary wall is made of rubble stonework and stands 1.2 meters high, which is important to the setting of the house and the row. Notably, Nos 7-10 are of a different construction, using greyer stones and having higher room heights.
