Description

Walnut Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located in East Coker, near Coker Marsh. It is constructed of local stone rubble with quoins of Ham stone. The roof is covered in double Roman clay tiles and has coped gables. The chimney stacks are a mix of brick and stone. The cottage is two storeys high, with three bays. The central entrance has a plain surround. The casement windows are likely from the 19th century. The window in the lower bay three has a plain ashlar surround with plain mullions. The interior was not inspected for listing purposes.
