Description
No 10 is a cottage that is part of a row of ten, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble and has a thatched roof with a brick chimney stack. The cottage is two stories tall and has two bays. It features 20th-century casement windows with two leaded lights, with the upper pair set into the thatch. There is a stone and thatched porch situated between the bays. To the east side, there is a garage built from rubble stonework topped with a double Roman tile roof. The interior has not been seen. The front boundary wall, made of rubble stonework and standing 1.2 meters high, is significant to the setting of the house and the row. Notably, Nos 7-10 are of a different construction, using greyer stones and having higher ceilings.
