Description

Squirrels Thatch is a cottage from the 18th century that has been altered. It is built of coursed rubble stone and features a thatched roof with brick stacks at the ends. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has two bays. The ground floor windows have been altered and now consist of 20th-century paired casements with cambered brick heads. There are also small 19th-century paired barred wooden casements set in the thatch. The entrance has a central half-glazed door topped with a timber gabled hood supported by brackets. This building is included for its group value.
