Description

The Butcher's Shop is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features a modern tiled roof with flanking brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and two bays. The front includes paired barred 20th-century casement windows with stone voussoir heads. There is a central door set within a 20th-century gabled stone porch. To the left, there is a matching one-bay extension, while to the right, there is a single-storey extension that houses the butcher's shop and links to Squirrels Thatch, although this part is not considered of special interest.
