Description

Top House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with quoins at the angles and openings, topped with a stone tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring a three-bay symmetrical facade. The central door is set within a flat wood pedimented porch, flanked by roofed and canted bay windows on either side. Above, there are casement windows that have stressed stone heads. At the rear, there is a lower wing that includes an additional door at the angle, which is adorned with a moulded wood architrave.
