Description
The Fox and Hounds Hotel and Stables is an inn dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone tiled roof. The building has two storeys and includes hipped dormers in the attic. The symmetrical facade consists of five bays, with a central door that has a segmental arched fanlight framed by a plain architrave. The windows are 12-light sash windows with stone heads and stressed keystones. The gable ends have stacks made of moulded and chamfered stone. The roof has two parallel ridges. To the left of the main building, there is a lower range of stables with a segmental arched entrance on the east side, stone heads above the windows, and a pantiled roof.
