Description

Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse, originally two cottages, set back from the road with a barn attached to the lower left. It is probably from the late 17th century and is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble with a stone tiled roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and features four dormer windows. The long facade may have originally represented two two-unit cottages. To the right of the barn, there is a three-light stone mullioned window on each floor, followed by a door, two windows, another door, and two more windows. All of these windows are casements with flat timber lintels. The main door on the right is framed by a stone architrave with a hoodmould. The farmhouse has one axial and two gable brick stacks.
