Description
Height House is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with a mid-19th century extension at the rear. It is constructed of thin coursed rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three main bays, with slightly lower single bays on either side that are likely from the same period. The central doorway is obscured by a glass-and-timbered porch, and there are tall sash windows in plain stone surrounds above and on either side of the door. The house has coped gables with end stacks. The flanking bays are accented with quoins and have simple Venetian windows, with the central lights being sashed and single-light sashes above. Gutter brackets are present, and the roof is a two-span design with end stacks. At the rear, there is an attached parallel range that is of lesser interest. The interior has not been inspected.
