Description
West Wells Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of local stone rubble with exposed timber lintels and features a plain clay tile roof with simple verges. The building is two stories tall and has three bays, with the left-hand bay being slightly recessed. The first bay has a two-light horizontal bar casement window, while the other bays have three-light windows. There is a plain entrance door in the first bay. The interior has not been seen. The cottage is attached on the east side to West Wells, and in the garden of this property, there is a feature known as the Washing Place.
