Description
West Wells is a cottage that likely dates from the 17th century and has undergone some restoration. It is constructed of rubble that has been cut and squared, featuring Ham stone dressings. The roof is made of plain clay tiles and has a coped gable at the east end, along with brick chimney stacks. The building is two stories high and has three bays. The windows are chamfered and have mullions, with rectangular leaded panes; the ground floor has three-light windows with labels, while the upper floor has two-light windows without labels. There is a central 20th-century part-glazed entrance door, which is sheltered by a timber and tiled porch. The interior has not been seen. The cottage is attached on the west side to West Wells Cottage.
