Description
Adsum Meakers Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage, possibly adapted from an earlier house. It is constructed from local lias stone that is cut and squared, and features bold roll concrete roof tiles with plain gables and a brick chimney stack. The cottage has a double roof plan, is two storeys high, and consists of a single bay. It has small-pane, two-light casement windows set under stone lintels, and to the right, there is a part-glazed door in a simple opening. The interior has not been seen. The cottage is included in the listing primarily for its group value and appears to be half of a house depicted on the 1815 map of the village.
