Description
The Old Rectory is a cottage dating from the early 19th century, possibly incorporating elements from an earlier building. It is constructed of local lias stone that is cut and squared, topped with a plain clay tile roof featuring coped gables and stone end chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. It features small-pane timber windows with timber lintels, and a six-panel door located in the second bay, which is set beneath a timber porch hood supported by two plain posts. There is also a two-storey, two-bay extension on the east gable that is set lower than the main structure. The interior has not been seen.
